As the current series of Doctor Who reaches its exciting climax today on BBC1, with the Doctor facing the old enemy the Daleks and their creator Davros, a series of Doctor Who MP3 downloads is on offer for free along the subject of Christianity.

Whistling Frog Productions has created a series of MP3 downloads, which are available for churches as well as schools and radio stations, teaching the subject of faith using the Doctor as a narrator.

The idea is that by using the Doctor they’ll be able to reach listeners who wouldn’t otherwise be interested in Christianity.

The MP3 series consists of the Doctor talking about his life as a Time Lord, and how that can be compared to religion. He talks about being the last of the Time Lords and how he has to help humanity survive, which is similar to that of Jesus.
