iPod games from EA
Games giant EA (Electronic Arts) is putting is full weight behind the iPod with a series of popular titles. Among the titles being introduced by EA for the iPod are the classic board game Monopoly, and the firm favourite Sims DJ.
Monopoly can be played either against the iPod, or with other players (up to four in fact). With the Sims DJ users can use the iPod’s wheel as a turntable to mix their tracks like a professional.
In addition to these games, EA has also announced that the PC classic Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and the game Road Rash will both be available on mobile phone handsets.
Adam Sussman is the VP for Mobile Publishing with EA:
As the global leader in mobile games, we remain committed to creating a range of fun, quality mobile games. Whether you’re partial to hardcore strategy games, action titles, The Sims simulation games or good old-fashioned board game fun, we have a game just for you.
The support of EA spells great news for Apple and the iPod, as it was EA’s lack of support for Sega’s Dreamcast that eventually led to the console’s downfall.
