Nintendo’s Wii Speak, which is a VoIP system (voice over IP) that will allow Wii players to talk to each other via their Nintendo Wii consoles, has been priced for the UK market. The system will make the Nintendo Wii even more of a party based console, bringing party gamers together from different parts of the world.

The Wii Speak VoIP system has been priced in the UK at just £25, and will allow users to connect to and use Nintendo’s Wii-Speak channel. The Wii-Speak channel launches just before Christmas in the UK, on December 5th.

By connecting to the channel (on the game Animal Crossing) you’ll be able to chat with up to three other console users, and even share pictures and instant message them.

The microphone that comes with Wii-Speak is also omnidirectional , which means that everybody in the room will be able to join in the fun and chat with friends from across the globe… or just next door.
